A Pictorial History of Bayview and Surrounding Lake Communities - Centennial Edition

Published in 2009 to celebrate the 2010 Centennial of Bayview, this is a collection of nearly 350 photos showing the history and development of Bayview and its nearby lakeside neighboring communities.  The black and white photos illustrate the area from 1866 until the present.

Bayview and Lakeview and Other Early Settlements on Southern Lake Pend Oreille

Ms. Hackbarth spent four years researching the history of the area and interviewing numerous early residents before compiling this story of the early years on the southern part of Lake Pend Oreille.  The book is published by the Museum of North Idaho.

Bayview - The Early Years - DVD

Ms. Hackbarth and Mr. Balbi collaborated in the production of a 38-minute DVD using a combination of photos and narrative to tell about the early development of Bayview, including its industries and families.

Roads Less Traveled Through the Coeur d'Alenes     

Dorothy Dahlgren and Simone Kinkaid of Coeur d'Alene compiled the writings and information from authors throughout Benewah, Kootenai and Shoshone counties to make this delightful collection of historic driving tours.

Copies of any photos in the Bayview Historical Society collection are available for purchase for private use, unless otherwise specified by a donor.
